The American Society for Microbiology (ASM) is a global life science organization composed of more than 32,000 scientists, educators and health professionals who are dedicated to promoting and advancing microbial sciences around the world. Microbiology has the power to impact lives, and ASM is uniquely positioned to bring together key stakeholders to institute lifesaving programs, advocate for science funding, encourage the next generation of microbiologists and contribute to the resolution of the most pressing global health challenges.
